A rapper with a criminal background, Tekashi 6ix9ine, says he no longer has a relationship with influential New York hip hop artist Curtis Jackson, under the pseudonym 50 Cent, which is one of his main mentors. Tekashi made this statement while talking to hip hop manager Wack 100 at the social network Clubhouse.
“No, I have not been in contact with Kurt for more than a year. I was last contacted when he was arrested – he offered to hire a lawyer. He has not spoken to me since,” Tekashi said.
It is noteworthy that in April 2020, 50 Cent was asked if he would work after his friend collaborated with investigation, to which he replied: “No, I will not work. It contradicts my understanding.”
